Note: Some of the following maps will say SCGC on them, the flow will be the same for the WGI contest.
Uniform-
Varsity- Show Uniform- Dress, tights, tan jazz “smooth” dance shoes.
JV- Dress Option Show Uniform- Dress, tights, tan jazz “smooth” dance shoes.
JV- Shirt Pants Option Show Uniform- Black show shirt, black show pants, tan jazz “smooth” dance shoes.
Everyone- Non-Show Uniform- Sparkman Guard or Band t-shirt, black bottoms, shoes that will not fall off when pulling the floor (preferably black).

- 9:10a- JV in uniform in hallway ready for warmups
- 9:20a- JV transition to body warmups
- 9:28a- JV body warmups
- 9:35a- JV transition to equipment warmups
- 9:37a- JV equipment warmups- Varsity retrieve floor/props and approach “On Deck” location
- 9:44a- ALL report to “On Deck” location
- 9:51a- JV Performance
- 9:58a- Tentative trailer reload
- 10:20a- Varsity in uniform in hallway ready for warmups
- 10:45a- Varsity transition to body warmups
- 10:52a- Varsity body warmups
- 11:00a- Varsity transition to equipment warmups
- 11:02p- Varsity equipment warmups-JV retrieve floor/props and approach “On Deck” location
- 11:10p- ALL report to “On Deck” location
- 11:18p- Varsity Performance
- 11:26p- Tentative trailer reload
- 3:30p- Everyone report to performer side of gym for Alta Marea
- TBAp- Report back to Hallway to receive the schedule for the rest of the day.
This is a contest with a Preliminary Performance followed by a Finals Performance/Awards Ceremony based on placement. Whether or not we have a group make finals, we will be staying to watch any of the groups we did not get to see in the prelims. If we have a group make finals, everyone will stay until after the final awards ceremony. If we do not have a group make finals, students will be released after the last group we may have not seen in prelims performs. If we see all of the groups that make finals perform in prelims, students will be released after the preliminary portion of the contest.

In gaps between performances, students are encouraged to eat, go watch other guards, and get into costume/hair/makeup. Students are encouraged to bring snacks, reusable water bottles, and money for concessions/food trucks. We will not be providing a meal at any point, so students need to use their free time wisely to get themselves fed. Also be sure to bring any portable chargers or other personal effects you may need- make sure that they fit into your duffle/backpack along with your equipment.
