Sparkman will be on a half-day schedule for this Friday and the call time for the band is 2:15pm with a 2:45pm departure. Students will need to bring money for supper and we will stop at the Gadsden mall.
Uniforms
The band will not get into uniform before we leave; therefore, students should wear clothes (gym shorts/sweat pants, etc..) that will allow them to change into uniform on the bus. Students will follow these procedures concerning uniforms this Friday:
- Arrive before call time and pickup uniform bag and shako (keep in box)
- Check your uniform bag and shako box to ensure all items of your uniform are present.
- Keep uniform bag and shako box in your hands at all times as you check-in with your section.
- Load the bus with your uniform bag and shako box. Place the shako box under your seat and hang the uniform bag in the window or across the back of the seat.
- DO NOT allow the uniform to fall on the ground.
Friday Schedule
- 11:31 a.m. – High School release from school (11:28 – 9th grade)
- 2:15 p.m. – Call time for band students at the high school
- 2:45 p.m. – Depart Sparkman
- 4:45 p.m. – Stop and eat supper at the Gadsden Mall (DIRECTIONS TO THE MALL)
- 5:45 p.m. – Depart for GHS (DIRECTIONS TO GADSDEN CITY HIGH SCHOOL).

- 9:45 p.m. – Approximate end of game
- 12:30 a.m. – Estimated time of arrival at Sparkman
