This week we will recognize our seniors for the last home game of the season. The band will perform both the Marching Band show for halftime and the competition show as a post game performance. On Saturday the Competition Band will attend their second competition of the season at the Middle Tennessee State University Contest of Champions.
Rehearsal Schedules
Please pay careful attention to the schedule at the bottom of this page as there are some updates to several rehearsals. Will be another busy week for the band.
Senior Night
Emails have been sent to all seniors and their parents concerning the pregame festivities for this Friday night’s game. Be sure to arrive to the game early to see the band seniors be recognized for their dedication over the years.
Pep Rally
The band will have a pep rally on Friday at the high school. Students will be released at 9:20am from their classes with our usual routine.
Friday Night Performances
The Marching Band will perform their show for halftime for the first time in a while. We look forward to seeing them perform their last home game perfromance
The Competition Band will perform their program as a post game performance in order to gain another public performance before their next competition.
Contest of Champions
Tickets
All spectators must purchase a ticket to get in the stadium. Performing students in uniform will get their hand stamped upon exiting the stadium after their preliminary performance. We will receive complementary tickets for the chaperons.

Rules (Pertaining to the parents/students)
- VIDEO CAMERAS ARE PROHIBITED. We are told that they can and will confiscate media devices.
- University policy prevents spectators from entering Floyd Stadium with coolers, drink containers, flags or signs which may block spectator view, amplified bullhorns, loud noise making devices, confetti, or toilet paper.
Food
Students will need to bring money for all meals throughout the day. After our preliminary performance, students will have plenty of time to visit a concession stand.
