We are very excited to announce the Sparkman HS Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform for the 2015 AMEA (Alabama Music Educators Association) Conference. This oportunity is a great honor and we look forward to representing Sparkman High School at the conference.
Each year music directors from the state of Alabama meet at an annual conference in Montgomery, Alabama where they attend clinics, meetings and concerts from selected elite programs from across the state.
Earlier this year, many schools applied for this oportunity by submitting an application and recordings of their program from the previous two years. We are very proud of the success all the Sparkman Bands have earned and we are honored the Alabama Bandmasters Association has selected us for this prestegious event.
The conference will take place January 22 – 24, 2015 at the Renassance Hotel in Montgomery, Alabama. The performance will take place at 4:40 p.m. on January 22nd and will be open to the public free of charge. More informtion about this performance will be released as soon as details are received.
