PER SCGC – * The Emergency Management Disaster Science Department at WKU is currently monitoring the weather. At this time, forecasts indicate a cold front moving into the area sometime Saturday night. While that is encouraging, we are all aware that conditions in this region can change quickly. We will be meeting with their team on Thursday and again on Friday, and will share any updates with you as they become available. In the meantime, we are actively developing a contingency rain plan. Should it become necessary, that information will be communicated on Thursday or Friday. For now, please plan accordingly by bringing tarps and towels with you. Winds, warm-ups will take place outdoors and may be as long or as short as you prefer. Each group will be assigned one scheduled interval in the Aux Gym for final adjustments and tuning inside the facility. This time is already built into the logistical schedule.

Tuesday, March 31
- 3:30-5:30 pm Wind Ensemble/Symphonic Band Rehearsal
Thursday, April 2
- 3:30-5:00 SIP Rehearsal
Friday, April 3
- 2:00 pm-5:00 pm SIP Rehearsal
- 4:30pm-5:00 pm Logistics Walkthrough (ENTER back left AND right, EXIT front left and right, HORIZONTAL timeline)
- 5:00 pm-6:00 pm Load Trucks (MOCK DAYTON LOAD)
Saturday, April 4
- Meal Plan:
- Breakfast – eat before arrival
- Lunch/Dinner – students will be responsible for one meal upon arrival, then we will provide one meal after awards.
- 8:00 am Call Time at S9GS
- 8:30 am Depart for WKU
- 11:45 am ETA WKU, eat lunch upon arrival Dining Options
- 1:00 pm Unload and change into uniform (weather dependent)
- 1:45 pm Warm-Up Begins, if no rain
- 2:30 pm Full Ensemble Warm-Up
- 3:00 pm Report to Roll Up Door
- 3:10 pm On Deck
- 3:20 pm Perform
- 3:30 pm Push to Truck and Immediately Load
- 3:52 pm Pause Loading to go to Diddle Arena for Music City Mystique and Awards
- 4:18 pm Awards Begin
- 5:45 pm (no later) Awards Wrap Up, Eat Dinner at Picnic Area by Truck Loading
- 6:30 pm Depart
- 9:30 pm ETA S9GS
- Students Dismissed after Trucks are Unloaded
