Spring is . . . almost in the air. And this means yard work is right around the corner! So to accommodate those landscaping needs, the band will be selling bags of mulch .
Everyone loves how their yard looks after it’s mulched, but no one enjoys going to the store and loading, then unloading, dozens of heavy bags. So this year, we can make mulch buying easy and even offer home delivery! People who participate in this fundraiser are supporting our school band, getting a great price on mulch and having it delivered to their home by friendly SHS Band Students. This is also a great service for many people who don’t have a way to transport mulch from a store back to their home. And it’s a great time-saver as well.
Types of Mulch
There are 4 varieties of mulch being sold. Three different colored mulch options will be available in 2 cubic foot bags ($5 each). And a pine mulch will be sold in a 3 cubic foot bag ($6 each).
Delivery
The mulch will be delivered to Sparkman High School early on Saturday, April 6th. Customers can come to the school to pick up their mulch, OR, we can deliver the mulch directly to their homes for a small delivery fee. For 1-10 bags, there is a $10 charge, and anything over 10 bags will have a $20 delivery fee. (Delivery is limited to within a 10-mile radius of Sparkman High School.)
