This article contains information about the percussion Parking Lot Preview at Muscle Shoals HS on Monday, Sept. 12.
On Monday, September 12 the percussion section will be traveling to Muscle Shoals HS to attend the annual Parking Lot Preview event. This event showcases several percussion sections from North Alabama and allows each ensemble to perform show music, exercises, cadences, etc for each other without being adjudicated. Special guests include the University of North Alabama percussion section as well as Mr. David Waters who will be providing commentary and critique for each ensemble.
Event Date: Monday, September 12, 2022
Attire: Gray Band T-Shirt + Shorts
Student Dismissal Time: 1:00p to the S9 Percussion Room. If this interferes with your lunch, you will eat during the lunch period prior to your regularly scheduled lunch period (ex. if you eat 4th lunch, you will eat 3rd lunch).
Truck Loading: Students will load the truck at 1:10p in the S9GS boy car rider line outside of the overhang.
Departure: 2:00p
ETA MSHS: 3:35p at the Muscle Shoals HS Band Practice Field, unload.
Dinner: Students will eat dinner (Chic-Fil-A) on site after unloading the truck. Mrs. Hamm and Mrs. Ashcraft will collect $10 per student the week prior to the trip.
