Our first game of the season will be an away game against Scottsboro. Please familiarize yourself with the schedule and all procedures concerning away games.
Friday Schedule
- 9:25 a.m. – High School and percussion students released from class for Pep Rally (9th grade winds/guard do not participate)
- 3:30 p.m. – Dress into uniform
- 4:00 p.m. – Pictures at the stadium
- 5:00 p.m. – Depart Sparkman HS
- 6:00 p.m. – Arrive at Scottsboro Stadium
- 7:00 p.m. – Game Starts – CLICK HERE for directions to the stadium.
- 11:00 p.m. – ETA: Sparkman HS
Note: We will not stop and eat on the way to Scottsboro and students will not have an opportunity to get food during the game. The boosters would like to collect $1 from each student on Tuesday in order to purchase a brown bag lunch to eat on the way to the game. The bags will include a hot dog, chips, and drink. Any student that does not wish to have the brown bag is responsible for obtaining their own sack lunch for the trip.
Water
This year we will attempt to solve an issue with water in the stands. We are asking the students to bring their own water jug to the game much like we do for after school rehearsals. We will allow them to march into the stadium with the water jug. We will still have water available in the stands but it will be distributed through coolers and cups. While attending away games the home team typically supplies the band with water bottles after halftime.
Away Game Procedures
Please be familiar with all procedures concerning away events. This information can be found on THIS PAGE. The most important of these procedures is the check-in and out policies. If a student needs to ride home other than on the bus they must have a parent or legal guardian present in order to sign a release form.
Medical Forms
All medical forms should be turned in immediately. Students can not attend the game on Friday night without these forms completed and submitted.
