This week the students will enjoy a well deserved break from school; however, Friday the Competition Band will rehearse a and travel to Bob Jones for another region game. During halftime the Competition Band will perform Parts 1-4 of their program for the first time this season.
Playoff Season
Congratulations to the football team for their win over Austin last Friday. This win has secured the team with a playoff game on November 8. Depending on how many more games they win it is possible their first game will be at home. The team (and band) will continue to play each Friday night during the playoff season until the football team is defeated.
Who is going?
As mentioned in our syllabus, all Competition Band students are required to attend the fall break game and all Marching Band students are encouraged to attend. (Load Equipment at 4:15pm) Although the halftime performance will be the Competition Program, the Marching Band students will still perform in the stands and enjoy the game. All travel policies still apply for this event.
