F3 Day is one of the most important parts of the band’s preparation for the next school year. The three “F’s” refer to Forms, Fees, and Fittings. Completing this process insures the participation of the student by both parents and band staff.
Our F3 Day is coming up this weekend on Saturday May 1 and the makeup day for this event will be on May 8. F3 Day will take place as a drive through service and we are asking for you to remain in your car.

We cannot accept forms that are partially filled out.

Uniform Fitting
CLICK HERE for a Measurement Form to PRINT and COMPLETE at home before F3 Day. You CAN NOT take your own measurements. Ask a parent/guardian or mature sibling for assistance. This data will be very important to a professional fit and comfort for your band uniform.
Returning band students, WEAR your BIBBERS and BAND SHOES to have your hem and fit checked on F3 Day. You must wear your compression shorts under your bibbers as athletic shorts, jeans, or pants add bulk and will distort how your bibbers fit.
New band students, you MAY wear hand me down Sparkman bibbers (ie. overalls, jumpsuit) and shoes if available to you. Make plans to buy your own black compression shorts by the time school is in session as you will wear these under your bibbers.
A representative from Gadsden Music will be with us to assist with shoe and glove fitting. Parents, please bring check or cash to pay Gadsden Music separately. Band shoes are $35. Gloves are $5 per pair. It is recommended students own 2 pair of gloves. Some students prefer to get new gloves for each season. Students, please discuss with your parent/guardian before F3 Day to expedite the process with Gadsden Music.
You can watch a video by the Band Shoppe at https://youtu.be/ZUO1HNrOVuU which gives a very good overview of how to take uniform measurements. The attached form also has simple instructions and FAQs.
Fees
The fee schedule for this coming year CAN BE FOUND HERE – Guard and Percussion are outlined as well.
Please remember that your family’s booster account must be caught up before we can accept any payments for the 2021-22 school year. If you have any outstanding fees such as instrument rentals for this semester, Winter Guard fees, SIP fees, or 20-21 Marching Band fees that have not been paid, please be prepared to pay those on F3 Day, in addition to the 2021-22 fees. You can check your account through Charms. Let me know if you have trouble logging in. Fees can be paid by cash or check (with phone number) to one of the treasurers OR you can use MySchoolFees by CLICKING HERE. and then select “Band Boosters”.
