Week Schedule
Friday, March 14
- 7:30a- Begin moving equipment to Gym 1- both floors, chairs, any flags/weapons you need
- 8:00a- JV Rehearsal, Gym 1
- 10:00a- JV Rehearsal wraps up, take chairs/equipment to band room and leave by door to load the trailer
- 10:00a- Varsity Rehearsal, Gym 1
- 1:30p- Varsity Rehearsal wraps up, take equipment and both floors to band room and leave by door to load the trailer
Uniform-
Varsity- Show Uniform- Dress top, leggings, TALL black socks, black jazz “smooth” dance shoes.
JV- Show Uniform- Colors within the Burgundy palette. Loose fitted long-sleeve button up top- if sheer make sure to wear an undershirt of the same color. Shorts must go at least to your mid-thigh. Skin tone tights. Tan jazz “smooth” dance shoes.
Everyone- Non-Show Uniform- Sparkman Guard or Band t-shirt, black bottoms, shoes that will not fall off when pulling the floor (preferably black).
Saturday, March 15
- TBA- Call time at SHS Band Room for rehearsal
- TBA- Load the trailer with equipment (if rehearsal)
- 2:15p- Uniform check and finalize ride assignments
- 2:30p- Depart SHS for Columbia Central High School
- 4:30p- Call time at Unit Check-In
- 5:20p- JV in uniform in hallway ready for warmups
- 6:10p- JV transition to body warmups
- 6:20p- JV body warmups
- 6:27p- JV transition to equipment warmups
- 6:28p- JV equipment warmups- Varsity retrieve floor/props and approach “On Deck” location
- 6:35p- ALL report to “On Deck” location
- 6:42p- JV Performance
- 7:15p- Varsity in uniform in hallway ready for warmups
- 7:52p- Varsity transition to body warmups
- 8:02p- Varsity body warmups
- 8:10p- Varsity transition to equipment warmups
- 8:11p- Varsity equipment warmups-JV retrieve floor and approach “On Deck” location
- 8:19p- ALL report to “On Deck” location
- 8:27p- Varsity Performance
- 8:43p- Assist LaQuest

- 10:00p- Approximate dismissal from Columbia Central
- 12:00a- Approximate return to SHS
In gaps between performances, students are encouraged to eat, go watch other guards, and get into costume/hair/makeup. Students are encouraged to bring snacks, reusable water bottles, and money for concessions/food trucks. We will not be providing a meal at any point, so students need to use their free time wisely to get themselves fed. Also be sure to bring any portable chargers or other personal effects you may need- make sure that they fit into your duffle/backpack along with your equipment.
