This week the band will travel to an away game on Friday night as the football team plays Buckhorn.

Playoff Games
If the team wins one more area game they will be in the playoffs and the band will attend all post season games. Since the team is playing so well we have added the first playoff game to the band calendar. We will continue every Friday night until the team loses in the playoff season.

Equipment Staging
This week the equipment truck will be loaded from S9 again. Students will use the last portion of their class time to load the equipment truck.
Upon return to Sparkman, Bus 1,2, and 8 will drop students off at the High School. Students will return their uniform and clear the band room. Bus 3-7 will drop students off at S9 and unload their equipment from the truck. Officer Massey will direct traffic as students cross the street to the high school after getting their equipment.
Students should always be very careful when crossing the road after dark. Cars are not accustom to stopping for crosswalk traffic and there is minimum lighting. Students should cross the street while a crossing guard is present.
Away Game Procedures

The most important of these procedures is the check-in and out policies. Students are asked to not check out after the game unless it is a special circumstance. The band WILL NOT wait for students to be checked out before we depart. Students are responsible for their own equipment and uniforms.
