On November 7, 2015 the Competition Band will compete in their final marching competition of the season. The band will attend the USBands Southern States Championships located at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Ticket Information
Tickets for this event are now on sale for $13 and can be purchased from a band parent during class. (limited availability) Tickets may be purchased at the gate for $17. Students participating in the program are not required to purchase a ticket (including prop crew)
Students that purchase a ticket are not are not required to ride the bus to the event; however, students may sign up to ride on bus #5. (sign up here) If a student purchases a ticket and does not ride the bus they will not be considered on our field trip and we (the directors) are not responsible for them. A student that rides the bus with us will be considered a part of our field trip and all rules apply for away events.
Only staff with a pass will be allowed on the field through the band entrance gate. All chaperones with a ticket will only be able to enter the stadium as a spectator.
Parking
Spectator parking is $5 (see map below). No personal or staff cars are allowed in the lots with buses/trucks and must park in spectator parking.

- 6:00pm (EST) – Arrive at Finley Stadium
- 6-7pm – Watching band performances
- 9:30pm (EST) – Sparkman HS Performance
- 10:30pm (EST) – Awards Ceremony
- 12:30am (CST) – ETA Sparkman HS

Food
The boosters will provide subway sandwiches for everyone on Saturday and we will eat as soon as we arrive. Anyone needing special options should contact Mrs. Wright at cwbandmom@gmail.com.
We plan to spend some time watching bands and students will have access to the concessions during that time.
Equipment/Uniforms
All equipment will be loaded on the truck as usual except ALL winds will place their instruments under the charter bus. (including tubas) Students are responsible for placing their own wind instrument under the charter bus before we leave Sparkman.
Students will carry their uniforms on the buses and will change on the bus upon arrival. Students must be in uniform in order to enter the stadium and must sit together in the stadium as you watch other bands perform.
No tailgating is allowed in the parking lot. Our golf cart will NOT be allowed to travel into the stadium.
