*We will not be taking a school bus to this event. Transportation to and from BJHS will be parent responsibility.*
Monday, February 27
- SIP Rehearsal 5-8 pm
Tuesday, February 28
- Battery Sectional after school until 4:30 pm
- 9th Grade Full Band Rehearsal 3:30-5:00 pm
Wednesday, March 1
- 9th Grade Band MPA Performance at James Clemens HS (Music Performance Assessment)
- 1:30 pm travel to James Clemens HS (school bus)
- 3:00 pm performance
- 5:15 pm travel back to Sparkman
Thursday, March 2
- Concert Band, Wind Ensemble MPA Performances at James Clemens HS
- 2:00 pm all bands travel to James Clemens HS (school bus)
- 4:20 pm Concert Band performance
- 5:50 pm Wind Ensemble performance
- 6:25 pm Concert Band travel back to Sparkman
- 7:00 pm Wind Ensemble travel back to Sparkman
Friday, March 3
- SIP Rehearsal 3:45-8:00 pm (dress rehearsal after dinner)
- Logistics Rehearsal 6:45-8 pm (vertical time line; enter back right, exit back left)
- Leave equipment set up
Saturday, March 4
- 10 am – 12:00 pm Rehearsal @ S9GS gym (no uniforms)
- 12 pm-1 pm Lunch (on own)
- 1 pm-4 pm Rehearsal @ S9GS gym (In Uniform) This rehearsal will conclude with a final FULL logistics run-through.
- 4 pm Load truck (students dismissed after truck is loaded)
- 6:00 pm Call time at BJHS (eat dinner before arrival)
- 6:05 pm Unload truck
- 6:20 pm Warm up begins
- 7:25 pm Ready at gate
- 7:35 pm Perform
- 7:50 pm Re-load truck
- 8:21 pm Music City Mystique Performance
- 8:45 pm Awards (captains only retreat)
- Critique (staff)
- 9:45 pm Meet back at S9GS to unload truck (This time is subject to change. Remind text message will be sent with more accurate time for unload)
- Students dismissed after truck is unloaded
