This week the Competition Band will compete at the Powder Springs BOA Regional Competition. The Marching Band only students will not have a rehearsal this Thursday and the band will not attend the football game this Friday verses Florence.
Uniforms and Baggage
Students will take their uniform on the charter bus. Uniform bags will be placed in the overhead compartment, shako boxes will be placed in the back of the cargo bay of the bus the student is assigned.
One suitcase and one carry on bag per student. The suitcase will be stored in the front of the cargo bay of the bus the student is assigned. The carry on bag should be small enough to fit in an overhead compartment.
Equipment
Students are responsible for loading their own equipment to the truck on Friday. The truck will be staged at the high school band room in preparation for loading at 1:30pm.
Medication
Students that have turned in a Prescriber and Parent Authorization Form that has permission to carry medication on their persons may do so on this trip. (if you can in school you can on this trip) All controlled substance medications must be given to the medical assistant on Tuesday at 5:30pm in the S9 cafeteria. If you have medication you are taking and you have not provided us with the proper forms please have that available by Tuesday with signature of healthcare provider.

11:30am: Everyone report to first lunch
3rd Block: Run through program on stadium field/Load Equipment Truck
2:30pm: Depart SHS
