F3 day is an event where the boosters collect Fees, Forms and do Fittings for uniforms. This event takes place during the summer and is very important for planning the upcoming marching season.
Missing F3 Day may result in a student being left out of the Marching Program due to time constraints during the drill writing process. Any student who can not attend the scheduled F3 day should contact the band director or booster president as soon as possible.
Fees
Band Fees are paid in full on F3 Day. Both checks (with current phone number) and cash will be accepted. Fees can also be paid using MySchoolFees through the SHS website. It is an online service that allows parents to pay fees online using a credit or debit card. Parents and students will also have an opportunity to order shoes, gloves, and bibbers.
Note: The Madison County Board of Education also charges each student a $50 Class Fee for taking the band class. This is totally separate from the Band Booster Fees associated with running the band program. Failure to pay the band booster fees may result in a lack of financial support from the booster organization which may include but not limited to: Uniform usage, transportation, instrument rentals, issueing music, etc…
Forms
Associated files (forms) needed during this event may be found in our download directory. Having these forms completed before the student arrives will drastically speed up the process on F3 Day.
Fittings
Uniform fittings will take place at F3 Day. Students will need to be prepared to try on uniforms during this process and are recommended to wear gym shorts or bibbers and a t-shirt. Please be sure to read the Uniform Agreement located in the download section.
When is this event?
The boosters make every effort to inform all parents and students of the date of F3 Day through email and letters and meetings. Students should always check the band calendar regularly and make note of the date of F3 Day.
